12 weeks to go - The Home Stretch!

We're in the Home Stretch!

This week starts my third trimester. I can't believe it is here already. Once again, thank you for all the prayers concerning the different tests and needle pokes that I had this past week and thank you so much for all the encouragement that we continually receive as well as for the positive remarks concerning these weekly updates. It is good to know that you all have enjoyed them as much as I have enjoyed sending them out. You all are family to us and the support has been no less than God's blessing. My only concern is this little tyke is going to get REALLY spoiled...haha! ...and well, that's not really a concern anyway! ;)

This time next week we will hopefully have some more pictures to share. I can't wait to see how big he is getting (but not too big, at least until he's born...lol)

How your baby's growing:
By this week, your baby weighs a little over 2 pounds and measures about 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels. He can open his eyes — which now sport lashes — and he'll turn his head toward a continuous, bright light from the outside. His fat layers are beginning to form, too, as he gets ready for life outside the womb.

How your life's changing:
You're in the home stretch! The third trimester starts this week and lasts until 40 weeks. If you're like most women, you'll gain about 11 pounds this trimester.

Invitations should be going out soon as well as a post in the bulletin at church, but so you all know, Robby and I will be having our baby "blue" shower on May 20th from 1pm-3pm at Mary Krablin's home (THANK YOU MARY!) Hope to see you all!

LOVE YOU!
