Ok, now I think they are really stretching to find comparisons here. What in the world is a jicama? At least they give us a picture. Anywho, we are at 32 weeks. I am mere weeks away from being full-term. The reality of having another baby is starting to set in. I know what I am in for concerning labor and if I sit and think about it, I do get a bit nervous. I did it the first time oblivious to what I would go through. To a degree, i don't know
exactly what this time will be like either. But, I do remember that it was intense. Our plan is still the same, natural. The aftermath will definitely be different with Rylen around. And the preparation for him beforehand will be interesting. I have lined up a few people to watch him depending on when labor begins for me, but I still need to have his schedule and food somewhat ready for him at a moments notice. I am kind of hoping that I have an evening labor like I did with Rylen. That would mean that he would be asleep through it all and there wouldn't be much more to prepare him for. Unfortunately, I can't plan it, so we will see how everything goes! I must be in that nesting phase. I am planning and organizing everything right now! Well, God knows what is best...always.
Otherwise, same 'ole stuff here. Just Braxton Hicks and a lot of moving around. All that is left is for him to gain the poundage! I won't have another appointment until next week on Monday, so in the meantime we are just hoping he is turning or has turned head down into position to hang out for the last weeks. We want him head down and facing my back. That is the best place for him AND DEFINITELY FOR ME!
Here's our boy!

By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.
