Fortune Cookies... a lost art.

What has happened to the fortune cookie? I seemed to remember them being much more profound in the past, but then again, maybe I was just young and impressionable. Tonight we ate from PeiWei and with the 6 fortune cookies that Robby brought home, none were fortune worthy. At least our son found snap peas and edamame interesting to eat tonight. The novelty of opening them and eating the insides kept him intrigued and thus, in the end, full. So now, I will leave you with the last fortune cookie we opened. Enjoy and be inspired!
