Time for Change

This blog has been on the back burner for a while and I'm sad that I haven't documented Ladybug's monthly updates like I did the boys since she was 2 months old. That makes me 8 months behind! I may go back when I have time, but it definitely won't be the same as being in the moment. I guess that is what happens when you have three kids and new challenges present themselves. But I believe this new "format" will give us all even MORE updates on everyone than just a monthly post.

I have decided to change up this blog a bit to reflect the new direction we are taking as a family. It will still document the life of the Robbins Family with their challenges, successes, joys, tears, and everything else that comes with raising a family, but it will primarily be documenting our family as we move forward to take on schooling at home. As our oldest gets closer to turning 5, we have decided to take the route of homeschooling. I have always thought about doing this with my kids but wasn't sure if it would be a good fit. I still don't know if it will be a good fit, but we will take it on year after year and see how it is going for us. We are delaying Rookie's entry into Kindergarten to give greater focus to his speech progress and I am really excited to see how much improvement we will make with one-on-one help versus being thrown into a classroom of kids.

So, hold on to your seats as we take this leap of faith and follow God's Divine Direction in our lives!

Kimberly, I'm so glad for you guys! I can't wait to hear all about your adventure. We started out the same way...just taking one year at a time... then, it just became so much a part of us there's no way we'd quit. Christian graduates Saturday...it's been a fast 13 years...

We got his graduation invite in the mail! Wish we could come, but we are heading to Dallas this weekend. My parents will be at the Homeschool conference there and we are going to visit with them and get a little browsing done as well :) Congratulations to Christian!

Feel free to leave any suggestions as you watch us dive in! :)
