Time to even up the score

We had our long-awaited ultrasound today for Baby Robbins #3. I was anxious to see how the little tyke was doing and we were not disappointed. This baby is a mover and a shaker. I couldn't believe how much movement there was and yet I couldn't feel much of it at all. Evidently my placenta is right on my belly and is preventing me from feeling a lot of the kicks and punches. So, it will be interested as to how "bruised" my insides are once this baby gets bigger. As for the ultrasound itself, everything looked great. A wonderful heart beat, fingers and toes accounted for, a four-chamber heart, 3 veins in the umbilical cord, and a good amount of fluid. I'm sure there were other things that she documented, but those were the basics that I saw. So, at 20 weeks, our sweet baby, is growing like a 20-week old should!

Now for the gender. You all voted in at 81% for GIRL and 18% for BOY.

Last time we went against the trend and had ourselves another boy. The trend seems to be girl again this time, so we decided to give in to the statistics.....as if we have ANY say! Ha! So, yes, to answer the gender question, our sweet baby will be a GIRL! The ultrasound tech was quick to know what the gender was and so I was sure it was going to be a boy. They always talk about how hard it is to identify a girl, but our little girl didn't leave us guessing. It was very obvious that she was....well, a SHE!

I am way excited and Robby is too...especially, once he figures out what to do with a girl. HA! I guess it is time to add more drama to our house. yikes! Like we need more! Hehe.

Well, we got some great images of our baby girl. Enjoy!

A couple of 3D images. She looks pretty comfy snuggling with her hand by her face!
